Between You & Me …..

I am 5 feet tall, 105 pounds, wear a size 34D bra and I’ve already had one breast reduction. Needless to say, I have a very difficult time with clothes. Why? I am very large on top and very small on the bottom so I need to wear a bra with straps because a strapless bra falls down when I move. Did I say when I move? I meant when I breathe!! Don’t get me wrong, strapless bras have come a long way but I still need the bra straps, even if the band fits well, and I feel more confident and comfortable wearing bra straps. A bra, without bra straps, tends to be a problem for women of all bra sizes.

What I could wear was very limited, especially in South Florida where Spaghetti Straps reign supreme. Frustrated and fed up with this problem, I started designing bra straps that are beautiful and comfortable. Now I can wear clothes that I never dreamed I could ever wear … it’s about time !!!

At 50 years old, I wore my first strapless gown. I wore the pink double beaded crystal bra straps and they looked like they were a part of my gown. It’s a great story so I’ll write a second article and tell you about it.
